- New High-Voltage Support: We’ve replaced the Sonoff SV board with a more robust custom board, allowing support for a wider range of gate motors, particularly 24V DC models. This ensures improved reliability and power efficiency.
Upgraded ESP32-WROOM Chip for Enhanced Performance
We’ve upgraded from the ESP8266 to the ESP32-WROOM, unlocking new capabilities:
- External Antenna Support: Achieve better signal strength for reliable connectivity. (Select Models)
- Dual-Core Processor: Enjoy faster performance for real-time control.
- Expanded Flash Memory: With 4/8MB of storage, you can integrate more features and customisations.
- Seamless ESPHome Integration: Our controller is still fully compatible with Home Assistant for easy automation.
- Local-Only Control: Control your gate without relying on the internet, ensuring security and privacy.
- Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates: Easily update firmware wirelessly with step-by-step instructions.
- Built-in Bluetooth Support: Use Bluetooth Proxy and other features for added functionality.
- Extra GPIOs for Customization: Connect additional sensors, LEDs, or smart home devices with three exposed GPIOs, including an LED status indicator.
